I am an advocate of using technology in the classroom. I had an opportunity to teach a 7th grade math class last year. It was with this group that I experimented with allowing them to use cell phones initially for the calcuators. We (the students and I) found lots of applications that we could use the cell phones for in our class. This year, several of my teachers are using the cell phones in class. One of my teachers is doing her thesis on the subject.
I would like to use this Blog as a way to share ideas and lessons that can be used to demystify how the cell phones can be used in class.
